Jonathan Gales, the co-founder of the British Animation and film studio Factory Fifteen, passed away on December 2 in a car accident. He was only 36 years at the time of his demise. 

Who is Jonathan Gales?

Jonathan Gales is the co-founder of Factory Fifteen, a British Animation and film studio, along with Nicholls and Tavares. 

He is known for directing the BBCs BAFTA winning film for Tokyo 2020. A native of Jersey, Jonathan Gales studied at St.Christopher’s school and Victoria College. 

He also studied at the University of Brighton. He married Claire Pepper, and the couple was blessed with one child. Sadly on December 2, 2022, the cofounder died in an accident. He was survived by his wife, who is expecting her second child and his one-year-old child. 

What happened to Jonathan Gales?

According to the reports, Jonathan  Gales was traveling to LA to meet one of his business colleagues, and while crossing the road, he was struck by a car, which resulted in his death. The driver dried to flee but was later caught up by the police. It was reported that he was drunk while driving. 

Tributes have been pouring in for the late cofounder, who passed away unexpectedly, expressing their deep sadness and condolences to his family.
