I continued being a headhunter while working on Young and the Restless, and I would tell clients I was on Young and the Restless so they wouldn’t get a dumb actress managing their accounts. Afterwards, she told Wallace how one of her clients recognized her from the soap opera, and she denied it, telling him, ‘Don’t tell anyone I’m on that show! Due to the fact that I was still making more money at my day job. A user replied, Is that all she said? I think he’s overreacting. It’s not uncommon for struggling actors (whatever genre they are in) to not brag about their other job that they are struggling actors. It wasn’t an insult to daytime soaps.
