Anna Kepner, an 18-year-old senior at Temple Christian School, was eagerly looking forward to her final year and the exciting opportunities ahead.

Enthusiastic about personalizing her school experience, Anna painted her parking spot with a theme inspired by her favorite film, “Clueless.” She was also thrilled to return to the field as a cheerleader for the Lions. Her love for water activities was evident, as she was both a licensed boater and a certified scuba diver. Beyond these hobbies, Anna enjoyed creating TikTok videos with her friends and her brother.

Anna had set her sights on a military career post-graduation, actively engaging with recruiters and awaiting the results of her ASVAB tests to help determine her future role.

Tragically, Anna’s life was cut short when she was found deceased aboard the Carnival Horizon cruise ship during a western Caribbean voyage, which concluded in Miami on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The FBI has initiated an investigation into her death.

Carnival Cruise Line has announced its full cooperation with the ongoing investigation. As of now, the cause of death remains undisclosed, with an autopsy pending.

Anna Kepner’s Celebration of Life will be held November 20.
