Oregon police say a missing Portland woman has been found dead under suspicious circumstances, marking the sixth woman this year found dead in the area.
According to ABC 2, deputies responded to a death investigation at the 29000 block of SE Judd Road in the Eagle Creek area on May 7. Someone fishing at a nearby pond called 911 after discovering a woman’s body in a heavily wooded area, identified as 22-year-old Ashley Real.
Portland Police Bureau said in April that Ashley was last seen on March 27 at a restaurant off Division Street, followed by a sighting at a transit center. Now, police believe she met foul play, following a string of other suspicious deaths.
In early April, Joanna Speaks was found dead in Clark County, while Bridgette Webster was also found dead in April, in Polk County. Charity Lynn Perry was found deceased on April 24, close to Ainsworth State Park in Multnomah County.
In February, the body of Kristin Smith was found near Flavel Road in Portland, Oregon Live reports, while the body of an unidentified female was found on April 24 near Interstate 205 and Southeast Flavel Street in Southeast Portland.
On April 30, the body of Bridget Leann Ramsey was found in Polk County, near Mill Creek, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

The Portland Police Bureau and sheriff’s offices in Multnomah, Polk, Clark, and Clackamas counties are investigating the deaths, but any potential connections between them remain unclear.
