Sex Offender McDonald’s Manager Impregnated 15-Year-Old Employee, Lawsuit Alleges

A sex offender working at a McDonald’s in Georgia allegedly impregnated a 15-year-old co-worker who has since had his baby.

According to WSB-TV, the victim’s mother plans to sue McDonald’s for hiring Jamira Sampson, 29, who worked as a manager at a McDonald’s in Loganville. Sampson is on the sex offender registry in Florida and Georgia and has a 2018 conviction for child molestation and a 2014 conviction for sexual battery of a child.

The 15-year-old victim reportedly started working at the Loganville McDonald’s in 2021. Family attorney Mel Hewitt told WSB-TV that the fast food chain hired Sampson years after he was legally deemed a sex offender.

“I was infuriated. I thought he was vetted but come to find out, he was a registered sex offender,” the victim’s mom said.

The family’s lawsuit claimed that Sampson had sexually assaulted the girl on and off McDonald’s property.

“He began grooming her like a lot of these sex offenders do and ended up getting what certainly everyone is going to claim is consensual sex. But she’s 15 years old. She’s not legally able to consent. She cannot in the state of Georgia,” Hewitt told WSB-TV.

Meanwhile, Sampson told WSB-TV that he could not say whether McDonald’s was aware of his criminal history, but the person who got him hired was. Sampson denied claims that he had sexual contact with a young woman at the workplace — but he suggested there was a young girl at his job who lied about her age. Sampson said he did not have a relationship with anyone who was underage.

Sampson told the news station that he eventually quit McDonald’s due to rumors about him and two young women. Regarding his prior criminal history, Sampson he served more than eight years in prison after he falsely admitted to something to protect a relative.

Loganville police Chief Dick Lowry confirmed to WSB-TV that they have an open case regarding a mother who reported a sex offender for impregnating her daughter and that the pair worked together at a local McDonald’s.

The family’s lawsuit is against McDonald’s, USA, LLC, and a foreign corporation based in Delaware.
