A tragic incident unfolded in Ohio when a man, in a fit of rage, killed his child, stepchild, and the stepchild’s father before taking his own life.

The Tiffin Police Department reported that the tragedy occurred while Ryan Eagon’s wife was in the process of moving her belongings out of their residence due to ongoing domestic disputes. Eagon was thought to be working away from home, and assisting her with the move was Dustin Willey, the 29-year-old father of her older child.

According to police, “The mother and Dustin were inside the house collecting the last of the items, while the children, aged 7 years and 7 months, were outside near the car.” Upon hearing the older child cry out, the adults rushed outside and found Ryan Eagon in the driveway.

Eagon, 42, then pursued Willey, firing shots as he ran past the mother. In a horrific turn, he shot the children before turning his weapon back on Willey. After the attack, he turned the gun on himself.

Officers arrived to discover Willey and the children inside the home, along with the mother, who remained physically unharmed but was in a state of profound shock, visibly traumatized by the events.

Eagon was found outside the home.

The mother told police she carried her children inside the home before they arrived. Willey and the 7-year-old were taken to hospitals, where they both succumbed to their fatal injuries. Eagon and the baby were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not identify the two children or their mother, but social media posts named them. The 7-year-old was Wrenn and the infant was August, according to their grandmother. The children’s mother, Raven Broski, wrote on Facebook about her devastation after witnessing an enraged man killing her children in front of her.
