Tragic Incident: Police Report Drowning of Two Young Brothers in Swimming Pool

Amber Goldman, aged 36, was detained by Gautier Police Department officers on Monday as they probed the deaths of her sons, aged 2 and 5. According to a press statement from the department, the incident occurred at Goldman’s residence, prompting police to respond at 5:30 p.m. after receiving an alert about two unresponsive children.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered the boys lying near a backyard swimming pool at the home located on 3 Oaks Drive in Gautier. Emergency personnel administered immediate medical assistance before the children were transported to a local hospital, where they were later declared deceased.

As reported by WLOX, a local ABC and CBS affiliate, Jackson County Deputy Coroner James Prisock verified drowning as the cause of death for the brothers. The specifics surrounding the incident have not been disclosed to the public.
