Authorities in Florida are actively searching for a 13-year-old girl from Prairieville who went missing over the weekend.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office reports that Kaidyn Chevalie left her residence near Perkins Road at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Saturday and has not been seen since.
On Tuesday at 12:59 p.m., the Louisiana State Police issued a Level II advisory for an endangered and missing child.
Kaidyn is a Black female, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing around 113 pounds. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing blue jean shorts, a white Hello Kitty T-shirt, and a pink hair bonnet, without any shoes.
Anyone who might have information about her location is encouraged to reach out to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office at (225) 621-4346 or dial 911 immediately.
Officials issue a Level II advisory when they believe a child’s safety is at risk, but the circumstances do not meet the requirements for an AMBER Alert.
The story is developing. Check back for updates.
