Alison Hammond enjoyed a trip down memory lane during Friday’s episode of This Morning as she rewatched her X Factor audition.
The presenter and former X Factor host Dermot O’Leary were joined by former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne as they played back the clip from 18 years ago.
Taken from a behind the scene feature for the show, Alison performed in a prank audition for judges Sharon, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.
But it seemed her performance was a bit too convincing as she left the judges appalled by her performance as Sharon exclaimed: ‘Who is this lady?’
Watching the clip in stitches, Alison said: ‘You can see the nerves on my face!’

‘It turned into something real, they were, like, really debating whether I was going through or not.’
‘Really critiquing you!’, Sharon laughed.
Before the moment was played, Alison recalled to Sharon: ‘You probably won’t remember when you first met me, because I was doing a behind the scenes on X Factor.
‘They said, “Right, Alison, you’re gonna do an audition,” and I said, “Well, let the judges know that it’s just a joke and that I’m not really auditioning.”
‘They went, “No, we’re not gonna tell them”.’
Alison then took to the ‘X’ sticker on the floor as she belted out the lyrics to Mustang Sally by The Commitments.
As the new Bake Off host proceeded to give it her all the judges were quick to halt the performance as Simon begged: ‘Alison, Alison, Alison, Alison…’, while waving his hand in the air.

Each judge then voted for the Big Brother star as Louis declared: ‘No!’

Outraged, Alison retorted: ‘Are you being serious, Louis?’
After a no from all three judges, Alison cried: ‘God, you wouldn’t know talent if it slapped you in the face.’
Prompting Sharon to ask: ‘But excuse me, who is this lady?’
Alison, Sharon, and Dermot were all in stitches after watching the clip back as they guffawed at Sharon’s savage remark.
‘You were such a baby,’ exclaimed Dermot.
