A decade ago, the anime series Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans premiered, introducing one of the darkest storylines in the expansive Gundam universe. To commemorate its tenth anniversary, a remarkable collectible figure has been released, capturing the essence of this iconic series.
The METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias is now available for online purchase, and it beautifully mirrors the mecha’s design as seen in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt. Renowned for its intricate detailing, the figure comes equipped with various accessories and additional limbs, exuding the sophisticated elegance that the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line is celebrated for. It even includes a cape, enhancing its majestic appearance, and potentially making it the most exquisite Gundam collectible to date.
The METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias is now available to order online, and it expertly recreates the mecha’s appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt. Laden with extreme detail, accessories and even extra limbs, it embodies a regal, luxurious aesthetic that the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS line is known for. There’s even a cape to drape it in, making the Marchosias perhaps the most elegant Gundam collectible ever.
Iron-Blooded Orphans Celebrates 10 Years With Cape-Wearing Gundam Marchosias Figure
Based on one of the main mecha from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt, the high-end METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias figure is almost classy in its construction. Featuring die-cast alloy parts and an expert metallic finish, it gleans and glistens more than most Gundam collectibles. Standing at just over 6″ in height, the somewhat unorthodox proportions and designs for the legs and feet are all part of the Iron-Blooded Orphans aesthetic. As in the anime, the mobile suit has two extra arms that can be housed in a sort of backpack or deployed for a truly dangerous quartet of armaments. Fans can fill each of these arms with one of the Marchosias’ weapons, with these including the Bastard Mace, the Great Sword, four daggers and a shield. There’s even a sheath for the sword on the figure’s hip, and with the copious articulation that it has, the mobile suit can be configured in all manner of epic battle poses.
Further accentuating this are the energy effects on the figure, with interchangeable “glow effects” being an option for the eyes. If this and its weighty gait weren’t already enough to make it impressive, the Marchosias even has a flowing cloth cape bearing the emblem of the Baklazan family from the Iron-Blooded Orphans anime. This all makes for one impressive anniversary collectible, and the reveal of the toy coincides with the release of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt – Path of the Little Challenger. This is an anime compilation film that uses footage from the Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urdr-Hunt video game. Available now for pre-order, the METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam Marchosias is now on the Premium Bandai website for $300 and is expected to ship out by June 2026.
