Reality TV Update
Just before Steven McBee Sr. faced sentencing for fraud, an announcement was made about the continuation of the family’s reality show.
Get ready for more cowboy drama! Bravo is set to deliver another season of McBee family antics with the renewal of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys. Fans can expect the cameras to roll during some pivotal times for this Missouri family.
According to Variety, the filming for Season 3 of The McBee Dynasty was scheduled right before the family’s patriarch, Steven McBee Sr., was sentenced on October 16 for fraud. The 52-year-old, known for his ranching and farming, received a 24-month prison term followed by two years of supervised release. McBee Sr. had admitted to committing crop insurance fraud in November 2024, resulting in a significant financial loss to the government. The court also mandated that he repay $4 million in restitution.
Filming on The McBee Dynasty Season 3 was set to begin ahead of patriarch Steven McBee Sr.’s October 16 sentencing on fraud charges, Variety reports. On Thursday, the 52-year-old rancher and farmer was sentenced to 24 months in prison and two years of supervised release. In November 2024, he pleaded guilty to crop insurance fraud that cost the government millions of dollars. A judge also ordered him to pay $4 million in restitution.
The McBee Dynasty premiered in 2024 on Peacock. It moved to Bravo for season 2, which began airing in June 2025. While McBee Sr. was a major figure in the show’s first season, he appeared on briefly in season 2 because of his legal problems. Instead, the focus shifted to his four sons as they navigated their messy personal lives while also trying to manage the family’s business empire, which was on shaky ground.
Bravo hasn’t confirmed who will be back for The McBee Dynasty Season 3, but chances are we’ll see more all four McBee brothers: Steven Jr., Cole, Brayden, and Jesse. Cole’s partner Kacie Adkinson will also likely be back, as will Jesse’s wife Alli Ventresca, whom he married in the season 2 finale. Less likely to return is Steven Jr.’s ex Calah Jackson. The Joe Millionaire: For Richer or Poorer couple have confirmed they split in 2024. Their rocky relationship was a major storyline in The McBee Dynasty Season 2.
The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys is streaming on Peacock.
