Captain Sandy Yawn Reveals on ‘WWHL’ She Was Unaware of Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova’s Dinner Dispute

Captain Sandy Yawn was surprised to hear of her part in the falling out between Real Housewives of Miami stars Guerdy Abraira and Julia Lemigova.

The Below Deck Mediterranean star appeared virtually on Monday night’s (Oct. 6) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where host Andy Cohen asked for her thoughts on the drama in RHOM Season 7 that, in a strange turn of events, involved her.

“Honestly, Julia and Martina [Navratilova] and I were friends and have been for years. It was normal for her to sit at our table,” Yawn said. “We would’ve loved to have everyone sit at our table, but it’s limited because you have your friends with you.”

Yawn added, “Just pull a chair up. It doesn’t have to be a thing. That’s how I feel about it.”

When RHOM Season 7 began airing earlier this year, tensions were at an all-time high between Lemigova and Abraira. According to Abraira, Lemigova asked her to take Navratilova’s spot on the cruise (that occurred nearly a year before filming, may we add) as she could no longer attend due to a health scare. However, Lemigova claimed that Abraira was the one who offered herself up to fill in for Navratilova, despite returning home from the same cruise just a few days earlier.

Things took a turn when the ladies were aboard the cruise. Abraira said she felt ignored by Lemigova, while Lemigova claimed Abraira made the trip all about herself and the “special events” she wanted to be invited to, including a dinner with Yawn.

But according to Yawn, she did not know this drama was going on behind the scenes.

“I had no idea until the show aired,” she said on WWHL. “I was clueless. There was a lot going on, because it was the godmother’s ceremony and I was just so focused on that and they were doing a lot of press. I wasn’t even really present until we sat for dinner.”

“But it was great to see them, and I just say the more, the merrier,” Yawn added. “Just pull a chair up.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
