Benito Skinner and Terrence O’Connor have announced the end of their nine-year relationship.
The internet sensation, popularly recognized as Benny Drama for his celebrity impersonations, shared the news of their split on his podcast, RIDE, on October 22. Skinner emphasized that the breakup was amicable and that both he and O’Connor remain on friendly terms, continuing to care deeply for one another.
“We both just love each other so much and have so much love and respect for each other,” Skinner expressed during the episode. “We treated each other with love and respect until the end.”
The 31-year-old influencer acknowledged the reaction from fans who have often expressed that they would lose faith in love if the pair ever separated.
“If our breakup makes you stop believing in love—I think it should be the opposite,” Skinner noted. “I was with someone so special to me for nine years, in a committed relationship with my best friend.”
The podcaster explained that the former couple “loved and championed each other” and grew up together, especially as Benito spent all of his 20s with Terrence.
