Dakota Fanning nailed a basic look on Friday as she was spotted out for a stroll in Los Angeles.

The actress, 29, basked in the spring sunshine as she shielded her eyes with a pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses.

Donning a pair of navy capri pants with a rolled up hem, she teamed the light look with a plain white T-shirt. 

Throwing a beige sweater over her shoulders, Dakota kept comfortable in a pair flip-flops.

Carrying a canvas crossbody bag, Dakota kept her phone in one hand as she returned from a lunch in the city.

Her blonde locks were left in a sleek style as they fell freely from a middle parting for the outing. 

It comes after she made a rare joint appearance with her sister Elle earlier this week as they attended The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Power Stylists dinner together.

They beamed for a slew of snaps at the bash, which also welcomed stars such as Lucy Hale and Barry Keoghan.

The sibling duo have a famously close relationship, with Elle sharing a gushing tribute to her older sister back in February for her birthday. 

Posting a carousel of pictures to her 6M followers, the blonde beauty gave an insight into their relationship. 

In the post, the sisters could be seen as they smiled widely while stood next to a character in costume during their childhood years. 

Another fun-filled snap, showed Elle in a hot pink mini dress while Dakota looked on horrified during a wild night out. 

She penned: ‘It’s that time of February again. My beautiful sister’s birthday. And the last of its kind… 29th year!’
