Does ‘Yellowstone’ Return Tonight? Where To Watch, Channel, Season 5 Return Date Info

Is there any room left on the Yellowstone bandwagon?

Last Sunday night, Taylor Sheridan’s popular Western drama made its broadcast debut, with the show’s two-hour pilot airing on CBS after NFL Sunday action and 60 Minutes. How were the ratings, you ask? In a word… great! Per Deadline, the episode garnered 6.56 million viewers, making it the the number one entertainment program of the week. The next two episodes of Season 1, “Kill the Messenger” and “No Good Horses,” air tonight on CBS.

Yellowstone reruns are doing well, but what about the next new episode of Paramount Network’s smash hit? When will Yellowstone return from hiatus? Here’s everything we know.

Is Yellowstone on Tonight (September 24)?

Yes… but it’s a rerun. The second and third episodes of Yellowstone (“Kill the Messenger” and “No Good Horses”) are scheduled to air tonight from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET on CBS, with additional Season 1 episodes airing Sunday nights on the network.

It’s possible, however, that the start time will be delayed due to NFL football.

When Does Yellowstone Return With New Episodes?

Nobody really knows. In January, it was announced that the final six episodes of Yellowstone Season 5 would debut in the summer of 2023. Obviously, that didn’t happen. Back in May, Deadline reported that Paramount Network was eyeing a November 2023 release date.

Due to the writers’ strike and ongoing behind-the-scenes turmoil, November always seemed aspirational at best, with The Hollywood Reporter even noting back in June that a November 2023 return seemed “highly unlikely.” And that was before the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Production on the final episodes of the series hasn’t even started. The situation remains in flux, but we don’t expect new episodes of Yellowstone to air on Paramount Network anytime soon.

How To Watch Yellowstone Season 5 Online:

All five seasons of Yellowstone are available on Peacock Premium. You can also watch select Season 5 episodes on-demand via the Paramount Network website, fuboTV, Sling TV (the $6/month “Comedy Extra” add-on), Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, Philo, or DIRECTV STREAM.

Finally, individual episodes and complete seasons of Yellowstone are available to purchase on Amazon.

Is Yellowstone on Paramount+ Or Netflix?

Nope. The series isn’t currently streaming on Netflix or Paramount+.
