Former child star Drake Bell emerged in a rare sighting on his way to the gym without his wedding band, following new of his separation from wife Janet Von Schmeling after he was seen inhaling balloons with their son in the car.
As he was spotted for the first time since his spouse reportedly called it quits on their relationship and moved to Florida with their son, the 36-year-old actor, who is serving a two-year probation for child endangerment, sported a Rolling Stones tank top, sweatpants and a pair of black sneakers.
The Newport Beach native, who rose to fame starring roles on The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh as a teen, tried to lay low as he kept his head down under a baseball cap and eyes shielded under a pair of black shades.
During his laid-back outing, he made sure to stay hydrated ahead of his workout by carrying a large reusable water bottle with him.
Bell seems to be making his health and fitness a priority after he was caught inhaling a balloon in the front seat of his parked car – with his toddler in the backseat – in Los Angeles in December.

According to Page Six, his partner has ‘had enough’ of Bell following reports reportedly inflating and deflating a balloon inside his car for more than thirty minutes outside his home.
It is unclear what, if any substance was inside the balloon.
Afterward, he took out his sleeping son from the car seat in the back and took him inside the house.
Drake was seen the following day heading to a local vape shop; he left the shop with a bag of items and was seen parked under a tree for 15 minutes in his car sucking on a balloon for nearly 15 minutes.
He then went to a local Del Taco and then headed home.
‘They had some incredible beautiful times before. He needs to focus on being healthy and they’ll be great co-parents in the future,’ the insider said.
‘It’s a bad moment in time for Drake. But he is a great dad when he is healthy and sober,’ the source added.
Page Six reported that Janet, 28, moved back to Florida with their son, closing in on a home there.

She reportedly is getting support from her family.
Drake and Janet first start dating in 2013 and they got married five years later in 2018.
Drake is currently servicing a two year probation for child endangerment for endangering a girl’s welfare when she was just 15.
Bell was sentenced in July 2021 to two years probation and 200 hours of community after pleading guilty to child endangerment charges.
Authorities have said a 15-year-old girl attended one of Bell’s concert in Cleveland in 2017 and contacted Toronto police in October 2018 about being sexually assaulted.
Toronto authorities then forwarded its findings to Cleveland police, prompting an investigation.
They found that Bell and the girl had ‘developed a relationship’ online prior to the concert, during which Bell sent the girl ‘inappropriate social media messages.’

He was later charged with attempted endangering a child because he ‘violated his duty of care’ and created a risk of harm for the victim, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office spokesperson Tyler Sinclair explained at the time.
During his virtual sentencing last year, the victim read her impact statement and claimed she performed oral sex on the star when she was 15-years-old.
‘These are crimes that are unforgivable and inexcusable,’ she said. ‘They cannot be taken back. He was calculating, he preyed on me and sexually abused me. He is a monster and a danger to children.
‘I’m kindly asking you to send a powerful message that these crimes are never okay, no matter who a person is,’ the victim continued.
She went on: ‘And he can give me that look all he wants but he knows exactly what I’m talking about.’
‘He is the epitome of evil,’ she said. ‘I deserve better than to be used for his sick desires, and for my suffering to be used for his amusement. Jared Drake Bell is a pedophile and that is his legacy.’
He seemed visibly shocked at the accusation and in response, the victim addressed him directly saying: ‘Don’t look at me like that!’
