Gina Rodriguez was seen for the first time since giving birth to her first child on a walk with her newborn in Los Angeles, California on Saturday afternoon.
As she enjoyed a leisurely stroll, the 38-year-old Jane the Virgin star wore a white baby harness strapped to her front, which kept her newborn close.
The first-time mom kept a firm grip on her little one’s back and could be seen gazing down at her infant, who she kept bundled under a white blanket with farm animals embroidered on it.
For her laid-back outing, the Golden Globe winner sported a black t-shirt, leggings, a pair of Nike sneakers, glasses and her wavy brunette tresses in a low ponytail.
She and her husband Joe Locicero have not publicly announced the arrival of their infant, whose gender and name remain unknown.

Rodriguez, who first announcing she was expecting on her 38th birthday in July, was last seen out with her baby bump on January 25.
‘This birthday hits different,’ she captioned a video of herself holding up a positive pregnancy test.
Gina’s announcement video opened with a sweet photo of herself and Joe as they kissed while out in nature with their dogs, followed by a clip of them smooching and nuzzling their heads together in the great outdoors with a snow-capped mountain in the distance.
Gina is best known for playing the title role on the acclaimed CW series Jane The Virgin from 2014–2019.
It was in 2016 that the two met on set, and by 2018 she revealed that they were engaged. The lovebirds married in 2019.
Joe has tried a variety of trades, including acting and modeling, and he has even worked as an MMA fighter.
In January 2016, Gina confessed on The Ellen DeGeneres show that her time starring on Jane The Virgin had given her baby fever.
‘I feel like they bring the baby [playing her son] up to me and my ovaries are like, “Ahhhh, come here baby!”‘ she joked to the host.

At the time, she said she was considering adoption so as to avoid the ‘whole process’ that comes with pregnancy.
‘I want one. So bad. I do, but I don’t want the whole process,’ she admitted. ‘I just want one to arrive like the stork conversation, right?’
Elsewhere in their chat, she joked about never having to work with crying babies because a new baby actor would be swapped in whenever the one that she was holding would start crying.
She starred as the title character in Jane The Virgin, a woman who accidentally receives the wrong procedure at her gynecologist’s office, where she is artificially inseminated.
She initially can’t believe that she could be pregnant, as she is a virgin, and even after coming to terms with the major life change she still has to navigate her relationship with her longtime boyfriend and the biological father of her child.
The show was a hit with critics and earned Gina a Golden Globe award in 2015 for Best Actress in a television series comedy or musical.
