Many are still questioning whether or not The Little Mermaid star, Halle Bailey is pregnant. Tired of the rumors, the 23-year-old songstress took time to respond on Snapchat to a fan that said she had a “pregnancy nose.”
In the video post, she said, “Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it’s going to be hell to pay.” Bailey continued, “You know why? Because I’m Black. I love my nose. What are you concerned about my nose for? Leave me the hell alone.”
As you might expect, the internet erupted with comments in response to the video. Here are a couple of reactions:
One person commented, “It has nothing to do with you being black. Some women nose change during pregnancy like yours. It’s crazy acting like you don’t know what the comment mean.”
Another commenter stated that it wasn’t just her nose that was “pregnant,” it is her entire face!
“O honey your whole face preggers. It’s beautiful. “
On November 5, The Color Purple star attended the LACMA Art + Film Gallery Gala, sporting a custom-designed Gucci gown. The style of the flowing dress continued to fuel the pregnancy rumors with some fans simply questioning why the R&B singer doesn’t just admit that she is expecting.
“I really don’t understand why you continuously hide ur belly bump as tho we don’t know ur pregnant. It’s weird asf. We don’t care that ur pregnant, it’s not a big deal!” one Instagram user commented on Bailey’s post.

She continued saying, “It’s only a big deal to social cause u keep trying to hide it and it’s weird asf that u are hiding ur bump as tho it’s a problem and not a blessing. Period. I said what I said.”
Bailey has been dating musician Zooted Music record label founder, DDG. The couple went “Instagram official” back in March of last year.
In May of this year, Bailey told People Magazine that she would definitely call DDG her “Prince Charming”.
“I think the best thing about young love is that you’re able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else,” the actress explained to the popular news outlet at the time. “And you’re discovering new parts of yourself and maybe things that you didn’t notice before about your heart.”
Time will unquestionably reveal if Bailey and DDG will be parents to their own bundle of joy in the new year!
