Evans has now confirmed she has spoken to the rapper since the viral moment, and it sounds like he’s probably not thrilled with her.

Evans popped up at Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea Awards this week. Decked out in what appeared to be silk pajamas, she hit the red carpet and answered questions. The interview was posted to Instagram. She was asked about the Lil Wayne situation and almost instantly clammed up. While looking a little bashful, Evans said that she had spoken to Lil Wayne recently. She claims that they have decided to “keep things on a civil level.” We aren’t sure what Evans means by a “civil” level. It’s possible she meant platonic, but we may never know.

What we can assume is that Evans won’t be on Lil Wayne’s arm as his romantic partner anytime soon. Followers and critics will just need to wait for the next soulmate to come along.
