Julianne Hough reveals she got a new puppy: ‘Say hello to little miss Sunny girl’

Julianne Hough introduced her new four-legged family member to the world.

The Dancing with the Stars dancer and judge, 35, took to her Instagram page on Thursday to make the big reveal to her 5.1 million Instagram fans and followers.

She shared an adorable clip of herself behind the camera picking up little Sunny from the floor and then swinging her around the living room, all while Taylor Swift’s sweet song August played in the background.

‘Say hello to little miss Sunny girl,’ she gushed in the caption.

The Rock Of Ages actress continued the love fest over her new addition in another clip she posted on her Instagram Story.

‘Now that Sunny has made her media debut…. Get ready to be inundated with perfect content,’ the new dog mom wrote in the second caption.

In the clip, a make-up free Hough looked fresh and natural while sitting on her bed with Sunny in her lap. 

‘You’re perfect,’ she whispered towards the camera so to not startle the gorgeous little girl.

‘I love you. I love you so much,’ Hough continued, which appeared to set Sunny off into a licking frenzy all over her human mother.

‘You are my sunshine, my little Sunny girl,’ Hough told Sunny while staring directly into the camera.

Just as Sunny let out a big yawn, she buried her face into Hough’s arm. 

The actress and dancer then proceeded to mimic her yawn and then announce: ‘Good bye.’ 

Hough appeared to be over the moon in love with her new addition.

Some of Hough’s fans speculated over what type of breed Sunny might be after making her first post on Instagram.

One fan suggested she looks like a doxie, which is the colloquial name for a dachshund, according to People. 

Someone else maintained the adorable pooch may be a Ruby cavalier King Charles spaniel, which was the breed of her last two dogs Lexi and Harley, who both died in 2019.

So far, Hough has not confirmed exactly what type of dogs they are or where she got them.

Hough is returning to Dancing With The Stars as co-host for season 32. The series is set to return on September 26 on ABC and will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
