Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North West, has been cast alongside her mother in the Paw Patrol: The Movie sequel, Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie.
“This year marks the 10th anniversary of the PAW Patrol franchise, and what better way to celebrate than the release of our second feature film,” Jennifer Dodge, Spin Master’s President of Entertainment and producer of the film, shared in a statement.
She continued, “As we continue to expand the PAW Patrol universe for fans, we’ll follow the pups on mightier missions and explore their backstories, this time with a heartwarming tale centered around our heroine Skye. With this cast of dynamic voice talent, we’re bringing a whole new level of excitement to the big screen.”
Joining the patrol alongside familiar Paw Patrol: The Movie voices such as Kim Kardashian, Marsai Martin, among others, North will make her voice acting debut with Alan Kim, and Brice Gonzalez as three new pups joining the patrol.
In addition to the new puppy voice trio, actress Kristen Bell, Sweet Tooth‘s Christian Convery, Lil Rel Howery, James Marsden, Serena Williams, and Taraji P. Henson will also join the cast. However, North isn’t the only one of Kim’s children joining this new Paw Patrol adventure. North’s little brother Saint West will also have a cameo in the film!
So just what can Paw Patrol fans expect from this upcoming sequel? Well, according to Collider.com, here’s a synopsis of the action to come!
When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it’s too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.
