Marin Hinkle of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel spotted without her wedding ring after filing for divorce from husband of 26 years

Marin Hinkle was spotted out without her wedding ring just days after she filed for divorce from Randall Sommer, 57.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel star, 57, was running errands around Los Angeles on Saturday while dressed casually in a pair of cropped light green joggers and a long-sleeved lavender T-shirt.

She carried a large brown leather tote bag and could be seen shading the screen of a parking meter with her left hand with no ring on it.

The Two And A Half Men alumna wore reading glasses on her face and had her brunette hair pulled into a ponytail.

The now former couple issued a statement to MailOnline saying: ‘After careful consideration we have decided to end our marriage.

‘We remain caring friends with mutual respect, admiration and love for one another and for our son.’

In court documents obtained by People, the Once and Again actress cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce. 

Marin also asked the court to ‘reserve’ the issue of spousal support for ‘future determination.’

She requested that both parties pay their own attorney fees and asked the court to consider ‘miscellaneous personal effects’ and ‘earnings and accumulations of assets of petitioner before date of marriage and from and after date of separation’ as separate property.

The I Am Sam actress listed the estranged couple’s date of separation as ‘TBD.’ 

Marin married the theatre director in August 1997 and they have a teenaged son named Ben. They’ve kept their private lives out of the public eye. 

In 2019, the Tanzanian-born actress spoke to Entertainment Tonight about being a working mother in her 50s.

‘Thank goodness I was fortunate enough to keep working, but you do sort of put your own needs and your own development a little on the back burner because the truth is you are just putting so much love and energy into helping somebody to develop,’ Hinkle said. ‘It’s your offspring.’ 

‘I mean this from my heart,’ she added.

‘The true joy is that I’m in my 50s and have a job today because what I recognize is the difficulty of how few and far between available jobs there are for people of my age. 

‘That’s the truth. As a woman, in their 50s, it’s still a huge struggle right now.’ 

And her job has given her a life outside of motherhood.

‘I really felt so lucky that I, too, was able to kind of find an independent life that I haven’t been having in my own life for quite a while,’ Hinkle said. ‘It’s like a blessing in disguise.’
