Jesse Burford has gotten on the wrong side of Married At First Sight viewers after saying something offensive to his new bride, Claire Nomarhas.
The groom ‘shushed’ the 31-year-old kindergarten assistant from Victoria when she got ‘too loud’ at the airport on the way to their Whitsunday honeymoon.
The pair were at the airport ready to depart when Jesse, 30, told Claire to be quiet ‘a few times’.

Claire soon got upset and began to ‘second guess’ everything she was saying, and how she said it.
‘One day in. If you’re already shushing me, you’re gonna have a hard time ahead of you buddy boy,’ Claire told producers.
She then faced off with her groom during their honeymoon, with Jesse saying he needed her to be quiet sometimes.

He complained to producers that Claire seemed ‘unaware of how loud she’s speaking’ and that he needed some ‘silence’.
Viewers tuning in at home were less than impressed, with several sharing their thoughts on Twitter.
‘Has there ever, in the history of humanity, been a time where shh-ing someone has improved the situation? NOPE!’ complained one person.
