She was given the boot from Dancing On Ice this Sunday.

But Michelle Heaton put a brave face on as she left the hotel on Monday after being voted off.

The singer, 43, looked sensational in a pair of tight-fitted black leather leggings that emphasized her svelte waist.

She caught the eye in a bold lime green fuzzy jumper, which she teamed with black patent leather high-heeled boots.

Her brunette locks were swept up in a messy bun and she hid her eyes behind a pair of pink aviator-style sunglasses.

Michelle waved as she pushed her rose gold suitcase along and blew kisses to the photographers.

It comes after Michelle commented on her exit from Dancing On Ice, taking to Instagram to say she was ‘heartbroken’ and ‘gutted’ to be leaving.

She shared a video of herself and her two children backstage, saying: ‘Aw guys, I’m absolutely gutted,’ while her son AJ, eight, jumped in and said: ‘We are so sad.’

Captioning the video she wrote: ‘What a ride … i didn’t want it to end. Heartbroken.

‘Though hear me when I say, I am overwhelmed with the support on this platform & others, I hear the frustration .. trust me, I am sad too.

‘But guys, as one door closes another must open coz it’s the only way! We get up dust ourselves off and fight for the next dream.

‘You rock babes, you & @alex_lukasz friendship has the world to me and my family. Over and out for a few days … me’.

Host Philip Schofield announced at the start of the show that a shock twist meant there would be no skate off for one week only.

The skating partnership which received the lowest judges score combined with public votes was immediately sent home from the show.

This meant that Michelle couldn’t rely on a second chance from the judges, which viewers have slammed as unfair on social media.

One commented: ‘Didn’t agree with the result, in my opinion, Michelle’s performance wasn’t the worst tonight.’

A second fumed: ‘This is why I hate so many public voting competitions, no way did Michelle deserve to go home. How can someone who fell over, spent 20+ seconds not even skating and off screen get kept in the competition?.’

A third person tweeted: ‘The whole show is a scam. Why did they ditch the skate off? Funnily enough the week Michelle happened to be in the bottom? I’m fuming. So so angry for her.’

‘Well that result was ridiculous Michelle didn’t deserve to go. She was better than at least 2 left. A skate off would have shown this’ commented a fourth unhappy fan.

With another adding: ‘Shocking result, the Judges stitched Michelle up with those scores. She was meant to do the show in a previous series, has fought her way back to health & is trying to build her confidence. Worked so hard & wasn’t given the chance to save herself. What a shame.’

Earlier in the show, Michelle put on a relatively confident performance, skating to All That Jazz from the musical Chicago alongside pro partner Łukasz Różycki.

The Liberty X singer – who’s bandmates were in the audience to support her – certainly looked the part, donning a racy black costume and cropped raven wig.

It was previously said that bosses of the ITV dance contest were reportedly hoping that the huge formatting shake-up will ramp up the pressure on the celebrities.

And on Sunday’s show, the host warned that ‘there are no second chances’ for the celebrities as those with the lowest judges scores and viewer votes combined will go straight out of the competition.

While Holly branded the move ‘brutal’ for the contestants, Phil shared: ‘More than ever, they will be hoping to bring the house down as tonight, there are no second chances.

‘We’ll combine the judges scores with your vote and then the lowest placed couple will go straight out of the competition.’

It’s official! Phil confirmed that the dreaded skate-off has been scrapped this week

He added: ‘For one week only…there’s no skate off to save them!’

Following the announcement, viewers of the ITV show were quick to take to Twitter to share their reaction.

One person shared: ‘I’m annoyed by the lack of a skate off tonight I always love to see what songs the couples get/choose for the skate off routines.’

‘Is there a reason why the skate off has been scrapped?’ questioned a second person.
