Miles Teller knew he was destined to soar with Keleigh Sperry Teller from the moment their paths crossed.

The Top Gun: Maverick actor recently opened up about the first time he encountered his now-wife, sharing the thoughts racing through his mind during their memorable meeting in 2013.

“It was during Grammy week in Los Angeles, and we both found ourselves at a Black Keys party,” Miles recounted on the November 10 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “When I saw her, I immediately thought, ‘That’s the most stunning girl I’ve ever laid eyes on.'”

The 38-year-old actor continued, “I was quite self-assured back then, maybe even overly so. I approached her, and I think it went alright, well enough. Afterward, I stepped outside, feeling like I might have fumbled my introduction. But then, I noticed her come outside, seemingly looking for me. I went back inside and began dancing with her.”

That was when Miles decided to make his next bold move.

“I tried to kiss her,” he admitted, “and she’s like, ‘No, I just met you.’ But I thought she gave me the look like, ‘This is OK.’”
