If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, you may think cleansing balms sound like a pore-clogging nightmare, but they’re quite the opposite. The oil in the balm bonds to the oils and dirt in your skin to extract them without stripping your skin of all the good bacteria. The key is to massage the balm into dry skin, then rinse it off with warm water. Using warm water is important. Cold water will make it harden, making it more difficult to rinse off.
