The Celebrity Traitors cast touched down at Inverness Airport on Friday, as filming on the star-studded spin-off series and backstabbing finally commencing.

Charlotte Church, 39, and Paloma Faith, 43, both turned heads in their kooky travel outfits after flying to Scotland alongside fellow sleuths Alan Carr, Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross and Tom Daley.

Welsh songstress Charlotte opted for comfort over style in a pair of green striped oversized pyjamas with lace trim that she wore with slippers.

She also sported messy hair and went make-up free as she strolled through the car park chatting animately on her phone.

Meanwhile fellow singer Paloma sported an equally oversized look with green bomber jacket and black joggers emblazoned with stars.

She accessorised with a sequinned cap and scarf as well as stylish perpex glasses complete with black chain as she headed off to the show’s iconic castle to meet host Claudia Winkleman.

Meanwhile comedian Alan, 48, appeared in great spirits as she departed the arrival terminal and despite his attempts to keep a low profile beneath a baseball cap, couldn’t help but flash his unmistakable smile.

Olympian Tom, 30, was also dressed causally with a £4K Dior Saddle bag worn across his body as he pushed his suitcase to a waiting car.

Elsewhere Jonathan, 64, and Stephen , 67, and historian and writer David Olusoga, 55, were spotted being helped with their luggage by members of the BBC production team.

On Tuesday the 19 big names taking part in the highly-anticipated star-studded version of the murder mystery game were revealed The Sun.

With other names transforming into faithfuls and Traitors including Ruth Codd, Celia Imrie, Tameka Empson and Mark Bonnar.

With comedians Nick Mohammed, Joe Wilkinson and Lucy Beaumont, joining singer  Cat Burns, presenters Clare Balding and Kate Garraway, rugby player Joe Marler and YouTuber Niko Omilana.

Missing from the confirmed line-up was actress and comedian Jennifer Saunders, who was heavily rumoured to be taking part.

Comedian Lucy became the last star to sign up for the show on Monday following her shock split from fellow comedian Jon Richardson.

The Award-winning funny woman, 40, is said to be keen to ‘make more of a name for herself’ with audiences and will be heading off to the show’s Scottish castle.

A source told The Sun: ‘Lucy is a massive fan of the show and is so excited about getting stuck in at Ardross Castle.

‘After her split from Jon, she has been working really hard to make more of a name for herself and Celebrity Traitors is the ideal opportunity.’

MailOnline have contacted Lucy’s reps and BBC for comment.

Lucy, who has appeared on numerous panel shows and won Chortle Award for Best Newcomer in 2012, announced her decision to divorce Jon in April 2024 after nine years of marriage in a move that surprised their fans.

They share a daughter and tied the knot in April 2015, two years after they started dating in 2013.

The couple first met through friend Roisin Conaty and went on to work together on a number of shows including Meet The Richardsons.

But in a joint statement in April, they said: ‘After 9 years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.’

Jon handed over £1.625million to Lucy when they called time on their marriage.

Speaking about the split, she told OK! Magazine: ‘People might think I should talk about it because we were so public and everyone knew us as a couple, but I won’t, and not because there’s any animosity.

‘We both agreed that while it might be weird for other people not hearing anything about it, we wouldn’t talk about anything to do with the marriage or each other.’

As excitement increases for the Celebrity Traitors, BBC bosses took extra precautions to keep the cast under wraps ahead of its reveal, following a series of leaks.
