Protestors Cause Delay at Gal Gadot’s Walk of Fame Ceremony

Gal Gadot is officially part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. But her March 18, 2025, induction ceremony started a little later than scheduled due to friction between Pro-Israeli and Pro-Palestine protestors. What happened outside the venue, ahead.

Protestors’ disruption pushes Gadot’s Walk of Fame ceremony back

Gadot’s Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles, Calif., started 15 minutes late because of protestors on Hollywood Boulevard, per Variety. A reported “several dozen” showed up to the ceremony with signs and flags.

While the area where the ceremony took place was tented off, and not fully visible from the street, protestors still caused “significant disruption” with chants, stolen flags, and a police presence.

All of it, according to the outlet, led to the ceremony starting 15 later than planned. Throughout the ceremony, which can be watched in the above video, protestors can be heard shouting.

Gadot made a speech at the ceremony. Also there to see her inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame were Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and her Fast and Furious costar Vin Diesel.

The ceremony comes amid rumored ‘tension’ between Gadot and her ‘Snow White’ costar Rachel Zegler

The hiccup at Gadot’s Walk of Fame induction is the latest bump in the road on the way to the premiere of her newest movie, Disney’s live-action Snow White. She plays the Evil Queen to Rachel Zegler’s Snow White. The movie, which hits theaters on March 21, 2025, has been plagued by much controversy.

Among the supposed friction is reportedly “tension” between Gadot and her costar. A source told People that Gadot, 39, “has nothing in common” with Zegler, who is 16 years her junior, noting that Gadot is “a mom of four kids.”

Another insider cited their “huge age gap,” adding that their “very different political views” also play a role. The first source agreed that Gadot and Zegler’s political views is only “adding to the tension.”

Zegler, for her part, is an outspoken Palestine supporter. As for Gadot, she is an outspoken Israel supporter, having been born there and serving in the Israeli army.

Gadot is “annoyed by the movie drama,” an insider said. She “enjoyed filming” and “was fine with Rachel.” However, “they are not friends,” the insider added. “They have nothing in common…They did a job together and that’s it.”

Snow White hits theaters on March 21, 2025.
