Sam Frost has opened up about the terrifying moment her son stopped moving during her pregnancy with her first child Teddy.

The former Home and Away actress, 36, revealed on the Two Doting Dads podcast on Monday that her son’s movements decreased in the final weeks of her pregnancy.

‘Towards the due date he just completely stopped moving. I went to a midwife appointment and told her he is not moving and he is usually very active,’ she explained.

‘They did their scans and tests. They said they were happy and his heartbeat is strong.’

Sam said she went home and ‘laid awake all night with my hand on my stomach and he was not moving.’

‘I went in the next day and told them “you have to check this, l’m telling you something is wrong with my baby”.

‘He ended up having an irregular heartbeat and they think he wasn’t getting nutrients from the placenta anymore so I was induced and he came out five hours later. I feel really lucky I trusted myself.’

Sam welcomed her first child, son Ted, on March 7, 2023, with Australian Survivor star Jordie Hansen.

They announced the arrival of their second child, Bobby, back in March this year.

‘This is bobby,’ she wrote on Instagram, alongside a red love heart emoji, before revealing his full name as, ‘Bobby Jordan Frost-Hansen’.

‘We love you so much little man • 29/03/2025,’ she continued.

It wasn’t long before the couple’s glorious announcement was inundated with well-wishes from their celebrity friends.

‘I’m melting! Bobby is just beautiful. And well done you. Congratulations,’ wrote TV veteran Lisa Wilkinson.

In August, the actress revealed her pregnancy was not easy.

‘I found pregnancy really difficult and I thought that would be perhaps a reflection on what is going to happen coming up, but to be honest I am actually a little more relaxed than I thought,’ she told Confidential on Nova radio.

Sam and Jordie announced their engagement on 7 July 2022.
