Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has taken a firm stance against prioritizing physical enhancements over career growth, following an eye-opening experience with a job candidate. She believes that this mindset hinders true success.
The actress shared an incident where she was on the verge of hiring a young woman for a lucrative sales manager position. However, she reconsidered after discovering the candidate’s primary life aspiration.
Martins recounted:
“I asked a beautiful girl about her five-year plan, and she boldly replied that her goal was to visit Turkey 🇹🇷 for body enhancement. This revelation came just as I was about to offer her a substantial monthly salary as a sales manager. I decided against it immediately.”
Delivering a powerful message to women, the actress stressed the importance of valuing inner character over external appearance, highlighting that true success is maintained through one’s qualities:
“Wisdom is more profitable than BIG NYASH! But if you’re lucky enough to have both wisdom and a big nyash, then you’re unstoppable! Big nyash will create opportunities, but wisdom and humility will sustain it”.
