CBS is gearing up to combat the Sunday Scaries with an exciting lineup, featuring the third season of Tracker and episodes from the brand-new singing competition series, The Road.
The debut of The Road on Sunday, October 19, showcased 12 gifted musicians vying for the chance to become opening acts for Grammy-winning country star Keith Urban. Urban’s journey will be shared with fellow Grammy winner Gretchen Wilson, as well as executive producers Blake Shelton and Taylor Sheridan. The series will also feature appearances by country music talents such as Jordan Davis, Karen Fairchild, Dustin Lynch, and Brothers Osborne.
If you’re eager for a recap of the premiere, Decider has all the details! In Episode 2, titled “The Factory, Dallas, TX, Part 1,” the synopsis is as follows: “The remaining 11 musicians hop on the tour bus headed to Dallas, where larger crowds and higher stakes await. Divided into two groups, they will open for Keith Urban over two nights at The Factory in Deep Ellum, delivering both covers and original songs to live audiences. Executive producer Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Tulsa King, Landman) will also make an appearance to offer the musicians some invaluable advice.”
