A host of Hollywood’s brightest stars gathered in Los Angeles on Sunday for the 16th Governors Awards, making it a night to remember.

Sydney Sweeney, 28, captured the spotlight in a dazzling sleeveless gown that perfectly highlighted her figure as she made her entrance at the Ray Dolby Ballroom.

The stunning mermaid-style dress clung to Sweeney’s renowned hourglass shape, emphasizing her glamorous silhouette.

The Euphoria actress channeled classic Hollywood vibes with her short, platinum tresses styled in Marilyn Monroe-inspired curls, complemented by understated makeup and elegant silver drop earrings.

In contrast, Jennifer Lawrence, 35, turned heads with a chic off-the-shoulder cream gown that featured a bold thigh-high slit, showcasing her long legs.

Other stars in attendance included Jennifer Lopez, Ariana Grande, Dakota Johnson, Elle Fanning and more.

This year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and its Board of Governors will host the Governors Awards to recognize four distinguished industry figures.

Debbie Allen, Tom Cruise, and Wynn Thomas will receive the Academy Honorary Award, while Dolly Parton is set to be honored with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award.

Lawrence added height to her look with strappy white heels showing off her red pedicure.

Her long blonde tresses cascaded down her back in loose waves.

Jennifer Lopez, 56, made a dramatic entrance in a busty grey and black ball gown. 

The old-Hollywood glamour look was completed with long, elegant black velvet opera gloves, which extended past her elbows. 

Ariana Grande, 32, wowed in a delicate one-shoulder pale pink gown. 

The Wicked star wore her tresses in a chic updo. 

Natalie Portman, 44, stunned in a heavily embellished pale blue mini dress that showed off her legs. She paired the look with strappy blue heels and wore her hair slicked back.
