Teyonah Parris and her husband, James Parris, are headed toward the finish line of their expectancy journey. The celebrity couple shared pictures from a recent maternity shoot this past weekend.
Teyonah definitely had the glow as she cradled her bump in several candids. The Marvels star gave the camera her full attention in single shots to deliver powerful photos that conveyed her happiness.
“Every day my mind is blown by this little miracle growing inside of me,” Teyonah told her social media fans. “Feeling empowered, so loved, and full of wonder,” the mommy-to-be further exclaimed. “Thank you, God.”
Another series of pictures featured Teyonah and James together. The parents-to-be snuggled as the photography captured beautiful moments between husband and wife.
“God showed out when he blessed me with this good GOODT (sic) man to venture this journey alongside,” Teyonah said of James. “Thank you so much for all that you do for me and our family, my love,” Parris wrote to her husband.
“We can’t wait to meet you, widdle one!! (I mean … please don’t come early cuz the house is still a mess and we have so much to organize! and I ain’t READY ready…),” Teyonah wrote to her baby. “BUT we do look forward to squeezing and loving on you in God’s good timing!! Amen!”

James and Teyonah Parris announced their expectancy of a child in September. The Marvels star shared the news with her social media fans.
“Whooooo chiiile,” Teyonah began her message. “I’m so excited to share that we have a baby on the way,” the actress revealed. “There have been so many feelings since we’ve learned that our dream of becoming parents is finally a reality,” Parris said.
“My husband, James, and I have felt a mix of shock, lots of nerves, but most of all so much excitement,” the actress continued. “Seeing the word PREGNANT [on the pregnancy test] was such an amazing feeling! We are so blessed and so grateful.”
Teyonah and James Parris are expecting their first child to arrive in the coming weeks.
