Bienvenidos a Miami — again! The Real Housewives of Miami is coming back for another season on Peacock after the success of last year’s reboot, and the drama is just getting started.
Bravo released a supertease for season 5 of the series during BravoCon on October 16, and the trailer promised plenty of conversation about Lisa Hochstein‘s split from husband Lenny Hochstein. The duo called it quits after nearly 13 years of marriage in May, when Lenny revealed that he’d moved on with Katharina Mazepa.
Lisa seemingly wasn’t shy about discussing the breakup for the cameras, but she’s not looking forward to watching it all back. “I’m dreading it ’cause I wasn’t expecting it, and I was a mess. Like, I couldn’t control my emotions,” the model exclusively told Us Weekly at BravoCon on October 14. “When the viewers tune in, they will see I was just … I wasn’t myself. Nobody recognized me. I didn’t recognize me.”
During a RHOM panel with her castmates, the Bravo personality revealed that filming with her fellow Housewives actually helped her cope with the end of her marriage — even if she hasn’t always gotten along with some of her costars. “All of these women have been an amazing support to me. We’re a sisterhood, we really are,” she explained. “I could not have gotten through this without them.”
The teaser also gave fans a glimpse at the cast’s season 5 girls trip to Baha Mar, a luxury resort in The Bahamas. At one point, Kiki Barth knocks on a door and says, “Police,” seemingly thinking that she’s pranking one of her costars. She quickly realizes her mistake and runs away, laughing as she clarifies: “Wrong door!”
That playful attitude isn’t universal, though, because the next scene shows Guerdy Abraira talking to Larsa Pippen about how she can be supportive of their friends. “We need to, as a group, learn how to put each other up on pillars,” the event stylist explains. “When they go lower, you go higher. You know what I mean?” The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum then replies, “No.”
Larsa and Lisa have had their differences in the past, but according to Larsa, the fallout from Lisa’s divorce helped bring them closer together. “Lisa’s going through such a hard time,” the Chicago native told Us at BravoCon. “It just shows that we can get through anything and we can still be friends at the end of the day.”
The Selling Sunset guest star added that she was able to give her costar advice based on her own experience, as she went through “a pretty public breakup” with ex-husband Scottie Pippen. “I [was] just helping her see that there is light at the end of the tunnel,” Larsa told Us. “And that it’s gonna be OK.”

Will Lisa Talk About Her Divorce?
“This has been a hard one for me. When I signed up for the show, I wanted to show my life,” Lisa said during the BravoCon panel when asked about how her split from Lenny has affected her. “I thought this season was gonna be fun, and halfway through these unexpected, horrible life changes happened to me.”

The Canada native doesn’t hold back in the teaser, either. At one point, she has a tense phone call with someone — seemingly Lenny — and says, “You bring that girl anywhere near my f–king kids, there’s gonna be a huge f–king problem. Do you understand me?”

Where Do Lisa and Larsa Stand Now?
At BravoCon, Larsa confirmed that she is “in a better place” with Lisa after some tension in their friendship. “It was kind of rocky,” Larsa said during the RHOM panel. “But I also feel like when you’re not in a good place in your relationship, you’re more stressed out, and I don’t think Lisa was in a good place in her relationship, so she wasn’t a good friend to me.”
Lisa, for her part, agreed that the duo are doing better now. “You really stepped it up as a friend,” she told Larsa, adding that she agreed they weren’t previously on good terms. “You were really there for me 100 percent.”

What Other Drama Is Coming?
A brief moment in the teaser hints that Julia may have to respond to rumors that she cheated on wife Martina Navratilova with a man. “When is this gonna stop?” the tennis legend asks her partner. “Julia, I’m done, OK?”
Despite that potential drama, however, Julia said at BravoCon that Martina is fully supportive of her super close friendship with Adriana. “She feels happy for me that I have a friend who has my back,” Julia explained. “[Adriana] is part of my life and my family, simple as that.”
The cast also teased a potential clash between Nicole and Larsa, who claimed at BravoCon that the anesthesiologist has “never invited” her to any of her events. “She literally invited everyone here on her private plane except me. How can we be friends when you exclude me?” Larsa asked during the RHOM panel. Nicole said that she was just looking out for Larsa and Marysol’s fear of flying on private jets. “You said my plane was too small,” Nicole recalled. “I actually invited everyone except Larsa and Marysol because they’ve told me before they don’t like small planes.”

What Are the Taglines?
Lisa chose to shade her estranged husband, Lenny, with her season 5 tagline, which was teased in November 2022. “You can try to take my castle, but you will never steal my crown,” she said in the clip, seemingly referring to her divorce battle.
Larsa, meanwhile, poked fun at her negative reputation, saying, “Hate all you want, ‘cause if I were you, I’d hate me too.”
Nicole also commented on her relationship status, revealing her tagline: “I’m a pro at the rules of engagement … and I have the ring to prove it.”
