Getting perfect eyelashes and brows can be expensive, but there are plenty of affordable eye makeup options if you know where to look! In this episode of In The Know: Duped, host Oneika opens viewers’ eyes to her favorite brow and lash products that are perfect low-cost alternatives to pricey, luxury items.
Oneika starts off by mentioning the “Holy Grail of eyebrow pencils,” the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. “[It’s] super precise, comes in a wide range of shades, and it’s the perfect blend of wax and color,” shares the host. But at $28 per pencil, the Anastasia pencil is expensive.
Instead, Oneika recommends the NYX Micro Brow Pencil, which Oneika claims “gives you everything the Anastasia pencil gives you but at a cheaper cost.” The NYX pencil has a similar formula to the higher end pencil, providing a natural texture and a fuller looking brow—and at less than half the price of the Anastasia pencil, the NYX pencil is the perfect dupe.
Moving on to lashes, Oneika mentions the highly popular Too Faced Better Than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara, explaining that the viral product is perfect for giving you that “full dramatic look,” but the price point packs plenty of its own drama, with a cost of $28.
Don’t fear, Oneika has the perfect dupe! The Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara from L’Oréal not only comes in a similar package as the Too Faced product, but it gives similar results at just $12 a tube. The mascara goes on easily, has seven different shades, and is free from parabens and synthetic fragrances.
With so many brow and lash products out there, it can be hard to find the ones that work for you. But if you want top-shelf quality at an affordable price, these products are the way to go!
