You might not think you need a silicone clip-on strainer in your kitchen, but you may be wrong. More than 22,000 Amazon reviewers give this strainer by Kitchen Gizmo five stars, calling it “the best kitchen gadget ever made.”

The Kitchen Gizmo Snap N Strain Strainer gently clips on to round pots and pans of all sizes so you can strain pasta, beans, meat and more without transferring the food out of the pot. Two strong clips hold the strainer firmly in place as you tilt it over a sink or bowl to strain. The Snap N Strain is even strong enough to hold potatoes in the pot.

The product is made of heat-resistant silicone, which makes it easy to clean — and it takes up much less space in your cupboard than a traditional strainer.

“This makes it so much easier to dump out water when making pasta of any type,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “It fits very well to most sized pans, and it’s dishwasher safe.”

“This is the best gadget ever. It was always a hassle digging out the big colander to drain things from my pots, but no more. The clean up is so much quicker than with using a large colander,” wrote another.

If you want to save space in your kitchen and make straining even easier, consider this clip-on strainer your solve. It may be simple, but that’s why it’s great.
