A woman roasted her brother on TikTok when he opted out of a wedding dress code.
Not everyone’s idea of dressing up is the same. This is usually why weddings have pretty strict dress requirements. We all know that breaking the rules can elicit some strong feelings from the bride and groom.
The user @chaneltaylorreid gleefully revealed her brother’s outfit choice in a viral video. While everyone wore formal attire, her brother chose a more casual look.
The TikTok has since been deleted, but the caption originally read: “Only my brother will turn up to a wedding wearing this.”
She panned the camera around to guests at the reception wearing suits and dresses. Then, there was her brother sitting next to her. He was wearing gray sweatpants with a matching jacket.
The video received 3.4 million views on TikTok before being taken down. People had mixed reactions to the outfit choice.
“My husbands uncle wore a black tracksuit to ours 😂 man never comes to any parties so we were just chuffed he was there,” a TikToker replied.
“If he was at my wedding he would absolutely be asked to leave regardless of who he was,” someone commented.
“He would be kicked out of my wedding so fast,” a user said.
