Celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge has showed the incredible results of a six month slim-down.

The Kitchen Nightmares Australia star, 48, took to Instagram on Sunday to share incredible side-by-side photos showing his body transformation. 

In the caption, Colin explained that he’d trained with fitness expert Adam Eddine at UFC gym in Rockdale, in Sydney’s south.

‘So when I first started training with Adam he made me take a photo day one (which I found quite embarrassing looking at it,’ he began. 

He continued: ‘Moving forward six months and on the road filming a lot we still found time for our weekly Colin bashing.’ 

Colin went on to praise Adam for keeping him motivated on his fitness journey.

‘You meet a few people in life who truly help and motivate you, Adam is one of those people! Still a lot more to do (beer belly),’ he added.

Colin can be seen in a number of recent Instagram videos working out at the gym. 

It comes after the star hosted Kitchen Nightmares Australia.

The series originally soared to popularity in the UK and the US while fronted by celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

When he is not on the road with that hit show, he curly-haired fast talker is filming episodes of another TV cooking success, My Kitchen Rules.  

The Dublin-born celebrity chef says doing MKR is like stepping into an ‘old shoe’.

‘I’ve been doing that show for 10 years and it’s good to be back,’ the he told The Daily Telegraph in an interview in July. 

Colin added that he loved doing Kitchen Nightmares, calling some of the kitchens he’s seen as ‘shocking’.   

Kitchen Nightmares ran in the UK for five seasons from 2004 to 2007, before returning for a one-off season in 2014. It also ran from 2007 to 2014 in the U.S. on Fox.
