The joyful news broke on Friday when Steinfeld shared the announcement with her fans through her weekly Beau Society newsletter. She also took to Instagram to spread the word, much to the delight of her followers.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Bills baby is on the way.
Actress Hailee Steinfeld and Buffalo Bills starting quarterback Josh Allen are expecting their first child, Steinfeld announced Friday in her weekly Beau Society newsletter and on Instagram.
The newsletter featured a list of her happiest moments over the past year following her 29th birthday, revealing the big announcement at the end. An Instagram video co-posted by Steinfeld and Allen, 29, showed the couple in a snowy field as Allen kissed Steinfeld’s belly.
Steinfeld, who most recently starred in “Sinners,” then turns toward the camera to reveal a sweater top emblazoned with the worth “Mother.” One hour later, the post had received over 1 million likes.
The couple began dating in 2023 before marrying in Santa Barbara on May 31 of this year, according to People. Allen has been with the Bills since 2018 and has received multiple awards since, including last year’s NFL Most Valuable Player.
This will be the first child for both Steinfeld and Allen.
