TAMPA, Fla. (BLOOM) — Chick-fil-A is rolling out fresh flavors for spring, bringing back a fan-favorite sandwich and introducing a new line of tropical beverages. Starting today, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich returns to menus nationwide with customizable options, while the new Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages add a fruity twist to the chain’s lineup.

Tampa a Test Market for New Dessert Drinks

In addition to the national rollout, Chick-fil-A is testing two new dessert beverages in select markets, including Tampa. The Icedream Spin and Icedream Float offer a twist on the brand’s signature vanilla soft-serve treat.

The dessert drinks are available for a limited time in Tampa, Chicago, San Diego, and Salt Lake City.

A Smoky Favorite Returns with More Choices

The Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, a seasonal staple first introduced in 2017, is making a comeback with a few updates. This there are three different filet options: classic grilled, original, or spicy. The sandwich is topped with crispy bacon tossed in a brown sugar and black pepper blend, Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, and smoky barbecue sauce, all served on a toasted sweet yeast bun.

“We’re thrilled to bring back the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, with an expanded lineup of options for our Guests,” said Allison Duncan, Chick-fil-A’s director of menu and packaging.

The New Pineapple Dragonfruit Drinks Debut Nationwide

Alongside the returning sandwich, Chick-fil-A is launching a new set of seasonal drinks featuring a combination of pineapple and dragonfruit flavors. The beverages include:

Duncan noted that the new drinks were designed to complement the smoky flavors of the BBQ sandwich and offer a “deliciously sweet and refreshing balance.”
