(NEXSTAR) – Comedian Matt Rife announced on his Facebook and Instagram pages that he has officially purchased Ed and Lorraine Warren’s home and Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.
The couple were paranormal investigators who ‘The Conjuring’ movie series is based on. In their home and museum is an assortment of paranormal artifacts from their travels.
Rife purchased the home alongside YouTuber Elton Castee, and both stated that they will be the legal guardians of the house and the collection of various haunted items for at least the next five years, including the infamous Annabelle doll.
Annabelle recently returned to the home after just last month being on the “Devils on the Run Tour.” While on the tour, a paranormal investigator who was traveling with the doll died unexpectedly.
Rife stated that he’s a huge fan of the film series and that he plans to open the museum and house up for overnight stays and tours sometime in the near future.
