Danville Police conducting emergency training, 'loud bangs' possible throughout city

DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The Danville Police are conducting training throughout the city on Monday.

The police department shared on social media that the Emergency Response Unit (ERU) will be conducting the training Monday from 4-10 p.m. They said the training will consist of loud bangs and multiple police vehicles in many locations in the city.

Officials advise the public that this is training only.
