Dollywood Teases Exciting New Attraction Set to Open in 2026

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. (WATE) — Dollywood visitors may have recently noticed some new hints in the park related to the new attraction coming in 2026.

During the 2025 season preview day in March, Dollywood announced that a new attraction would allow guests to “take flight” next year, with Dolly Parton joining Dollywood Company president Eugene Naughton for the event. Now, eagle-eyed visitors at the park may spot hints at what that new attraction will be.

Throughout the park, posters share that they are “seeking adventurers,” with numbers to text or call to find out more information. A decal on the poster also reads “Hidden Hollow Aviation.” Posters teasing new attractions are not new to Dollywood, with the park using a similarly posted “wanted” poster for the Big Bear Mountain rollercoaster.

Additionally, those who take a ride on the Dollywood Express may also notice some construction happening near Big Bear Mountain. The new building includes a few banners for the “future home of Hidden Hollow Aviation.” Hidden Hollow Aviation also partially shares a namesake with another secret play area found in Wildwood Grove: Hidden Hollow.

Dollywood has not officially confirmed that Hidden Hollow Aviation is central to the new attraction, but the park’s website does have a page dedicated to Hidden Hollow Aviation. The page includes three videos, including the video that was shown during the 2025 season preview day.

While park fans are likely interested in finding out new details about the story for Hidden Hollow Aviation themselves, the videos do tease a story about a family’s quest and “The Legend of the Secret Lake.”

A spokesperson for Dollywood shared that the park will be giving more hints about the 2026 attraction on its social media. They also shared that there will be an announcement “of what is in store as part of the largest attraction investment in the history of Dollywood” in the future.

In March, Dollywood shared that the new attraction would be Great Smoky Mountain themed, with Parton and Naughton revealing that it was the biggest and most ambitious project Dollywood has undertaken.
