CHICAGO (WGN) — An outage kept X users from catching up on their feeds early Tuesday morning.
According to Downdetector, a website that tracks the status of websites based on user-submitted reports, X outage reports began rolling in around 5:14 a.m. CST and climbed exponentially through 6 a.m.
Downtecter indicated more than 10,000 X outage reports from 5:44 a.m. CST.
Downdetector also indicated a Cloudflare outage, a company X uses for its infrastructure, which provides security and performance services for websites.
Users were also unable to access Downdetector and ChatGPT. Pages that were unable to load read “just a moment…” followed by a loading screen, reported by Nexstar’s WPIX.
Outage reports for X and Cloudflare began to fall by around 6 a.m., and services appeared to be restored by 6:10 a.m. CST
It is unclear if the outages were connected.
