Gainesville police hold community meeting about its K9 unit

The Gainesville Police Department this week held a meeting to update the community with information on its K-9 unit. It’s under scrutiny after an incident last July with a police dog, and community discussion on Tuesday quickly turned hectic as neighbors clashed over the unit’s suspension.
