Inaugural Banana Ball Championship Set to Debut at Grayson Stadium

SAVANNAH, Ga. () – The Savannah Bananas announced Tuesday morning that the first-ever ‘Banana Ball Championship’ will take place at Grayson Stadium from October 2nd through the 11th.

The event will match all four teams against each other to fight for the title of best team in Banana Ball. Below is the schedule for the upcoming games:

• Thursday, Oct 2 – 1 Savannah Bananas v. 4 Firefighters – 7:00 p.m. (Semifinal 1 GM 1)
• Friday, Oct 3 – 2 Party Animals v. 3 Texas Tailgaters – 7:00 p.m. (Semifinal 2 GM 1)
• Saturday, Oct 4 – 1 Savannah Bananas v. 4 Firefighters – 7:00 p.m. (Showdown game to take place should series be tied) (Semifinal 1 GM 2)
• Sunday, Oct 5 – 2 Party Animals – 3 Texas Tailgaters – 1:00 p.m. (Showdown game to take place should series be tied) (Semifinal 2 GM 2)

• Thursday, Oct 9 – Banana Ball City Selection Show – 6:30-8:00 p.m. This selection show will highlight everything about Banana Ball being played in 2026. It will also debut the names of the two newest teams. This will mark the beginning of the Banana Ball Championship League (BBCL) era with the addition of these two new teams.

• Saturday, Oct 11 (Finals) – Winner Semifinal 1 v Winner Semifinal 2 – 7:00 p.m.
