Kids with Gun and Machete Reported in West Portsmouth 

Concerned West Portsmouth parents contacted the police after two of their son’s young friends left some disturbing items behind.

The parents said their son’s friends were sitting on their porch and asked for a ride home. The father agreed to take them, but when they got out of the car, he noticed they had a gun and a machete with them.  

The man confiscated the items from the kids and wanted officers to take possession of the weapons. Deputies spoke with the guardians of the children who left the items and the weapons were returned.
