ATHENS, Ga. — In a commanding performance at Sanford Stadium on November 22, two athletes hailing from Savannah showcased their talents as the Georgia Bulldogs celebrated a Senior Day victory over Charlotte.

The Bulldogs secured a decisive 54-15 win in a game where the outcome was never in question. While not without its imperfections, the victory left Georgia in a healthy position as they prepare for their upcoming rivalry clash with Georgia Tech.

Georgia established a strong lead by halftime, concluding the first half with a 28-3 advantage. Nate Frazier was instrumental, scoring the initial two touchdowns, followed by Ellenwood native Bo Walker, who added two more, ultimately achieving three touchdowns for the game.

Among the standout performers was Savannah’s own Elijah Griffin, who marked a personal milestone by recording his first collegiate sack, resulting in a seven-yard loss for the opposition with 2:53 remaining. Griffin wrapped up the game with two tackles, bringing his season total to 16.

Adding his name to the score sheet was fellow Savannah native and Calvary Day alumnus Thomas Blackshear. Blackshear made a nine-yard reception, his only catch of the day, marking his second reception this season, with his first occurring against Austin Peay on September 6.
