CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – In a concerted effort to bring a fugitive to justice, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is tirelessly searching for a Chester County man wanted on murder charges, with a substantial $20,000 reward on the table for information leading to his capture.

The manhunt, involving SLED, the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), is focused on locating 45-year-old Carlton Wallace Dixon. Dixon is accused of the heinous crime of murdering 29-year-old Elijahwan D. Boulware on June 17, 2024, on Flint Street in Chester County, South Carolina.

Beyond the murder charge, Dixon faces accusations of possessing a weapon during a violent crime and unlawful possession of a firearm or ammunition, having been previously convicted of certain offenses. This multi-state search is compounded by Dixon’s connections to various states, as noted by a representative from the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

SLED is urging anyone with information regarding Dixon’s whereabouts to come forward. Individuals can provide tips by calling (866) 472-8477 or by emailing tips@sled.sc.gov. The search continues as authorities hope to bring Dixon to justice and ensure public safety.
