DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) — More amenities are coming to the Pier 36 Marina in Decatur, the city announced.

Officials said on Facebook that thanks to a partnership between the city, the Decatur Park District and G&H Marine, Inc., the following amenities are being added to the marina:

  • Four more floating docks between the lookout tower pier and the Beach House. This increases the number of boating slips to 120.
  • A new convenience store and marine supply store, with gas sales, boating supplies, drinks, adult beverages and — new for 2025 — pizza and new snack options.
  • Opportunities to rent 10-person pontoon boats or the 16-seat double decker boat for a day on the lake

To rent a boat slip, people can call G&H Marine at 217-423-6684. To rent a boat for a day, click here.
